Mechanical Assembler

Description:

What will you be responsible for?

  1. Assembling food display cases on a line, in a team, or in an assembly cell using power, pneumatic, and hand tools.
  2. Wiring lighting, power, and refrigeration sources in display cases to ensure proper operation.
  3. Execute and maintain proper inventory transactions within department.
  4. Maintain housekeeping standards within department

Requirements:

What are we looking for?

  • A high level of mechanical aptitude is needed to take the parts required and build our display cases using blueprints and the necessary tools. Due to the custom nature of our product line, it is extremely important to be able to interpret the information provided with the display case for proper assembly.This also requires a candidate to be able to retain and recall information about each case, without an instruction manual. 
  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable and have experience using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • This position will not consist of standing or sitting at a desk assembling. The ideal candidate must be capable of lifting 50+lbs, standing 8-10 hours, bending, twisting or kneeling while working, climbing a ladder to assist in assembly.

Design Technician

We are looking to fill a role for a Design Technician. The Design Technician works under the direction of the Design Manager while at times will take direction from Senior Designer. Their role is to assist Designers in the creation of models, drawings, and specification sheets for standard and custom models for customer presentations.  Supports design efforts to bring new products to market acceptance. Attention to technical details and accuracy of models, drawings and information is critical for this position.

Position Description

Modeling

  1. Create, revise, and organize Rhino models as needed for customer presentations.
  2. Create Rhino models of case accessories and equipment made by others.
  3. Download engineering models from Solidworks and convert to Rhino models.

Design Specification Documents

  1. Prepare Design Specification Sheets of standard and custom models.
  2. Create drawings and organize electrical and refrigeration specifications as needed.

Design Support

  1. Assist designers as needed in the preparation of concepts for customer presentations.

 

What are we looking for?

  1. 1-5 years’ experience in design/engineering, including drafting, etc.
  2. Proven CAD/Rendering skills. Experience with programs similar to Rhino 3D/ Solidworks
  3. Experience in a manufacturing environment with a knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and cost.

Requirements:

Prefer 2 year Associate degree. Will consider someone with similar knowledge gained through extensive work experience. Courses/experience to include art, mechanical drawing, mathematics, and manufacturing practices. Knowledge of manufacturing methods, materials and basic engineering principles needed to preform work assignments.

Customer Service Manager

We currently have an opening for a Customer Service Manager!

Details:

This position’s responsibility is to manage the customer service and tech service functions of the company, and in doing so, provide a superior level of service to all customers. This would include department personnel management, systems and procedure management, interfacing with other departments, and having a proactive approach to customer service to ensure customer satisfaction. 

  1. Work directly with all internal departments to ensure a successful customer experience
  2. Assist Customer Service Reps with delivery commitments, expediting and assist with problems  as it relates to customer satisfaction
  3. Handle complex and escalated customer service issues
  4. Monitor and improve service procedures, policies and standards to ensure departmental  best practices and an orderly workflow for  both Customer Service and Technical Service teams
  5. Recruit, mentor and develop customer service reps where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment
  6. Work with Operations team to ensure acceptable, consistent on-time ship rate
  7. Monitor and communicate inventory levels of stock programs and excess inventory to Inventory Management team
  8. Review and assess customer contracts
  9. Provide daily tracking of bookings and shipments
  10. Collaborate with Quality and Technical Service  teams to review and address systemic warranty claims

Requirements:

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques, 5 years’ experience in Customer Service, Prefer supervisory experience
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to make quick decisions
  • College level education and/or equivalent experience related to business, management, and/or customer service.
